Why in Spain?

In southern Spain, we have the best climate and conditions to fly paragliding the whole year round, especially in winter and autumn. While the rest of Europe is frozen, we can fly great thermals at 21 ºC ... are you going to lose it?

In one or two weeks here, you can complete paragliding courses that will take months else where. Not only will you be flying but you will be seeing new cultures, surroundings and the real people of Spain.

Learning paragliding in the north can difficult at the best of times, constant bad weather can mean driving backward and forwards to sites with little flying. Pre-Worlds of Mexico: one more for the Valic's

The area of Valle de Bravo displayed its legendary conditions to host successfully the Monarca Cup and then the Pre-Worlds Paragliding Open, where 6 tasks were flown. With races ranging from 60 to 101 km -the longest ever in a Mexican comp- nearly 150 pilots from all over the world could train for the main FAI event of 2009. The Valic brothers were, once again, hard to reach and disputing the 1st place between them, with Urban finally taking the 1st place and Aljaz the second, followed by Nuno Virgilio (PT) on 3rd.

The PPG world will meet at Basse Ham 2008

Held every two years and popular enough to have set a world record of paramotors in the air at the same time, the PPG World Convention of Basse Ham will be back in June on the northeast of France. With a fair with 60 manufacturers, about 500 pilots coming from all corners of the globe, top-level champions, shows, prizes and even a “flight endurance” contest for electric paramotors, the Basse Ham event promises 3 days of pure flying and fun. All pilots are welcome.
